We are a family beekeeping unit with a tradition in beekeeping in Rhodes for over two centuries.
Our headquarters are located in the picturesque village of Archipolis, in the center of the island.
The story begins with our grandfather Ioannis Mesanagrenos and continues with the same love and respect for the environment as back then.
1957
It all officially began when our grandfather, Ioannis Mesanagrenos, began practicing the art of beekeeping in the village of Archipolis, at the point "Melissourgein". Our grandfather continues the tradition of his family which we know holds deep traditional roots.
1987
After graduating from the University of Hamburg in Germany, our father, Nikolaos Mesanagrenos, returned to Rhodes to fulfill his dream of becoming a beekeeper. Together with his wife , Mary, they embarked on a beautiful journey into the workl of bees .
1990
The first honey production laboratory is created in the village of Archipoli.
2009
The second honey standardization laboratory in the village of Archipoli is also being completed, where our honey is standardized and sold on the local market.
2018
The management of the bees and production was passed down to their children , Areti and Yiannis , graduates of the Agricultural School at the University of Thessaloniki).
2023
A third laboratory has been established in the center of the city of Rhodes

For the first time on Rhodes, professional beekeepers with formal training offer organised experiences. Today , our family's legacy continues with a commitment to quality , systainability , and preserving the rich tradition of beekeeping in Rhodes. We our proud to share our passion with visitors and fellow beekeepers , offering a unique and hand-on experience in the heart of our island. As we look to the future, we remain dedivated to innovation while staying true to the values passed down through generetions.
